Tim Wilson, a long established sailing boat designer and builder, is commencing production of the Impulse class.
He has a background principally in Australian Fourteen foot skiffs and International Ten Square Metre Sailing Canoes.
He has already produced an Impulse which will be sailing as a demonstration boat from April, in the hands of Toby Leppin. The boat is decked with a vacuum laminated part from the Association deck mould, with the hull built over a limited production run jig, all in PVC foam sandwich and epoxy.
Now that the Association hull mould has become available, vacuum laminated hull and deck assemblies will be produced, again all in epoxies, to any stage of completion and finish the customer requires.

Pricing starts at $1760 for a bare shell, to $6600 for a finished complete hull with rudder box, glass/epoxy timber foils, and major fittings, all including tax.

For lightness, quality and durability, hull and deck are finished in two-part polyurethane. Standard colour is white, with colours from International Paints available to order.
